Start up Camp – September 19-21 2008
Camp McLean 20315 16th ave , Langley
middle field – Bob Butcher Shelter
Scouts and Venturers meet at camp Friday night 6:00 pm ( bring a bag dinner)
Beavers, camping available Saturday night ( each beaver requires a parent to camp)
Pick up on Sunday at 10 am
The basic program will be:
Friday Sept. 19 – 6:00 p.m. on
Overnight camping available from 6:00 p.m. on
Shelter, four cabins, two teepees and tenting area will be available
Saturday Sept. 20 – 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All youth and parents invited for field games, BBQ dinner and campfire (7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) Scouts and Venturers to help run stations
There will be an orientation session (4:30ish to 5:30ish p.m.) for new parents and leaders
Cabins reserved for Beavers. Teepees reserved for Cubs - first come, first served.
Sunday Sept. 21 - 10:00 a.m. Clean up and Closing ceremony
Cost: - Scouts and Venturers $25.00 – bring 6 treats to share
- Beavers camping Saturday night $10.00 per beaver and parent – arrive after 12 noon
- Beavers and family members attending the Saturday night games and BBQ only - FREE
