2007 is the inaugural year for the Stewart Schon Achievement Award.
The award is presented to a scout each year who has shown outstanding achievement in badge work, community service and who has truly displayed the virtues of being a Scout, something that Stewart stood for.
The recipient, as judged by his Scout Leaders demonstrates all of the characteristics that it takes to be awarded this honor. He shows Friendship, Respect, Leadership, Honesty and Integrity both in his scout uniform representing 6th Peach Arch and as a youth in the community.
